In the heart of the 18th century, on a hill overlooking the magical Lake Maggiore, Villa Margherita was born. Built as a noble residence, this villa was destined to become a gem of the southern landscape of Oggebbio, just 15 km from the Swiss border. Its elegant architecture and Mediterranean garden with palm trees, olive trees, and citrus fruits make it a place of rare beauty and tranquility.
After more than 30 years of abandonment, in 2001, the Ruffatti family decided to bring this dream house back to life. Luigi Ruffatti, along with his children Silvia and Daniele, initiated a restoration project with a unique sensitivity that restored the villa to its incomparable beauty. The villa was transformed into an enchanting wellness villa-hotel, surrounded by Mediterranean plants and equipped with modern comforts.
Every corner of Villa Margherita is carefully curated to offer guests a unique wellness experience. The 22 rooms, flooded with southern sunlight, are furnished with simplicity and delicacy. The elegant marble bathrooms, featuring hydromassage showers and delicate scents from the garden, provide endless freshness.
